A simple 90 degree jig that can be adapted to a variety  of structural shapes. Make four out of 2" x 1/4" flat as shown here, or whatever will work for your purpose. Space and tack weld to metal bench to suit. If you have a lot of repeat welds, this is simple to make, and beats  working with a square every time you tack your work together.
